Ads Policy

Last updated:

Scope

This policy governs every paid promotion on Abtal Business Network (the "Service") — today, sponsored jobs shown at the top of matching job searches and as clearly labelled cards in members' home feed. It applies to the organization that submits a promotion (the "advertiser") and to every person acting on its behalf. By submitting a promotion you accept this policy; the version you accepted is recorded with the promotion.

Who may advertise

Only organizations with a verified Abtal profile may submit a promotion for review. Verification is earned separately through Abtal's verification review and is never granted, extended, or influenced by paying for placement. A promotion may only be created and managed from a signed-in account that owns or is authorized to manage the advertiser's organization.

What may be promoted

A promotion may only carry a job that the advertiser owns, that is published on the Service, and that has passed Abtal's job moderation. The promoted card shows the job as it is published — title, employer, specialty, location, work mode, seniority and employment type — plus an optional headline of up to 80 characters per language. If the job is closed, unpublished, or later fails moderation, the promotion stops and cannot be resubmitted until the job is fixed.

Prohibited content and claims

Promotions and headlines must be accurate and must not mislead. The following are not allowed: guaranteed outcomes of any kind (for example "guaranteed placement", "guaranteed results"); claims to cure, heal, or reverse autism or any other condition; medical, therapeutic, or educational claims that are not substantiated; misleading pay, hours, location, or contract terms; requiring applicants to pay a fee to apply or to be considered; and content that discriminates against applicants on the basis of disability, gender, nationality, religion, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

Because Abtal serves the rehabilitation and special-education community, promotions must never target, depict, or collect information about children or people receiving care, and must never reference an individual's health or disability data. Abtal's reviewers screen every promotion for prohibited claims before it goes live; a flagged term is examined by a person and is never approved automatically.

Review and enforcement

Every promotion is reviewed by Abtal before it goes live, normally within one business day. A reviewer may approve it, send it back with requested changes, or reject it; the outcome and the reason are shown in your promotions dashboard and sent as a notification. A resubmission is reviewed again in full, including any new headline.

Abtal may pause or remove a live promotion at any time if it breaches this policy, the Terms of Service, or applicable law, or if the underlying job is no longer eligible. Repeated or serious breaches may result in the advertiser losing access to promotions. Abtal's decisions are recorded in an audit log.

Labelling and viewer controls

Every promotion is labelled "Sponsored" wherever it appears and explains who paid for it. Members can open "Why am I seeing this?" for any sponsored card and can hide a card from their own browser. Paying for placement never changes how a job or an organization ranks in ordinary (non-sponsored) results.

Measurement and privacy

Abtal reports impressions (a card at least half visible for one second), clicks, click-through rate and, only for members who have allowed ad measurement in their cookie preferences, applications that followed a click. Reports show what viewers searched for (specialty, country, city) and, in the home feed, their interface language and profile country — plus, only for members who opted in on Settings → Ads, their first declared specialty. Abtal never gives advertisers a viewer's identity, IP address, or location, and never builds interest profiles of members. Benchmarks ("typical click-through rate") are medians across many advertisers and are published only when enough promotions contribute to hide any single advertiser's numbers. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice for retention periods.

Fees

There is no online payment on the Service. Any fee for a promotion is arranged directly between the advertiser and Abtal before the promotion goes live. Submitting a promotion for review does not by itself create a payment obligation.

Changes to this policy

Abtal may update this policy. The date at the top is the current version; each submission records the version the advertiser accepted, and material changes are announced in the Service before they take effect.
