Overview

This notice explains the cookies and local-storage values Abtal Business Network uses today. Everything we set is strictly necessary, with one optional exception: the ad-measurement cookie (abn_adclk), which is only set after you allow ad measurement and then click a promoted job. There are no third-party advertising or analytics cookies on the Service. Your measurement choice is asked for in the consent banner and can be changed at any time from the Cookie preferences control at the end of this page.

Strictly-necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off — they do not require consent under applicable law, but we disclose them here for transparency.

Ad measurement is optional — and off unless you opt in

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or cross-site tracking of any kind. The language/locale you browse in is carried in the URL path (e.g. /en, /ar), not a tracking cookie.

The only optional cookie is ad measurement (abn_adclk). If you allow it and later click a promoted job, that click is remembered for seven days so the employer can see that one application came from their promotion. It carries a signed reference to the promotion and nothing about you — no name, account, IP address or location — and employers only ever see totals.

Your measurement choice

Ad measurement stays off until you give specific consent — in the cookie banner or in the Cookie preferences control at the end of this page. You can change your choice at any time; withdrawing it immediately removes any measurement cookie already set. Everything else we set remains strictly necessary.

Controlling cookies

The strictly-necessary cookies cannot be disabled without losing the ability to sign in or use the Service securely. The optional ad-measurement cookie is controlled by your choice: withdraw it in the Cookie preferences control and any abn_adclk cookie is removed immediately. You can also clear cookies at any time through your browser settings; you will then need to sign in and make your choices again. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the personal data associated with your account.

Cookie preferences

Off unless you allow it. When on, a promoted job you click is remembered for seven days so the employer can count that one application came from their promotion — no name, account, IP address or location.
