Terms of Service

Last updated:

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Abtal Hub and Abtal Business (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization (a center, company, or event organizer), you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Eligibility and accounts

Abtal Hub and Abtal Business is a professional network for the rehabilitation and special-needs services community. You must sign in using a single Keycloak-managed account shared across the Abtal ecosystem — there is no separate, standalone login for this Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

No action beyond public browsing (the homepage, limited public profiles, public job/event listings, limited search, and certificate verification) is available without logging in. Registration, verification and password changes take place in Keycloak's branded account journey; Hub and Business application routes do not receive passwords.

Acceptable use and content policy

You agree to provide accurate professional information (credentials, experience, organizational details) and to keep it up to date. You must not impersonate another person or organization, misrepresent your credentials, or misuse the verified badge or verification workflow — submitting fraudulent documents for verification, or claiming a certificate you were not issued, is a serious violation that may result in immediate suspension, permanent termination, and, where applicable, referral to the relevant authorities.

You must not post unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory content; upload malware or attempt to compromise the Service's security; scrape or bulk-harvest other users' data; or publish private family, children's or clinical data in professional directories or messages without authority. Hub family journeys require the applicable guardian or participant authorization; professional access does not grant access to those records.

Verification and the verified badge

A verified badge indicates that Abtal reviewed the credentials or organizational documents you submitted and found them consistent with our verification criteria at the time of review. It is a trust signal, not a guarantee, warranty, or endorsement of your competence, service quality, or ongoing compliance with any professional licensing body. Abtal recommends relying only on verified accounts, and clearly marks unverified accounts with a warning so users can make an informed choice.

Certain trust-asserting actions — posting jobs or ads, publishing events, issuing certificates, and ranking in default search results — require a verified account. Basic participation (maintaining a profile, applying to jobs, browsing, and attending events) requires only that you be logged in.

Your content and license

You retain ownership of the content you submit (profile information, posts, articles, job listings, CVs, images). By posting content, you grant Abtal a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service (e.g. rendering your public profile, generating a downloadable CV export, or displaying your post in the feed). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.

Jobs, events, and ads

Employers and organizers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of job listings, event listings, and advertisements they post, including compliance with applicable employment and advertising law. Abtal may review, reject, or remove any posting that violates these terms or our content policies, and reserves the right to require verification before a posting is published (verified-gated publishing).

Certificates

Certificates issued through the Service (e.g. attendance certificates issued after confirmed event attendance) are publicly verifiable via a unique credential link. The issuing organization is responsible for the accuracy of the certificate it issues; Abtal provides the issuance, storage, and verification infrastructure but does not independently certify the underlying competency unless it is itself the issuer.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Abtal does not guarantee the accuracy of any user-submitted profile, listing, review, or certificate, and does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abtal's aggregate liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Suspension, termination, and account erasure

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms, for fraudulent verification attempts, or to protect the safety or integrity of the Service, with notice where practicable. You may delete your account at any time from account settings; this triggers erasure of your personal data subject to the retention exceptions described in our Privacy Policy (e.g. audit logs and issued certificates retained for integrity and legal reasons).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to any mandatory local consumer-protection or data-protection law that applies to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced through the Service before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
